ALSI President & CEO Featured on Recent Segment of ‘Our Region’s Business’
Our Region’s Business, hosted by Bill Flanagan, is a Sunday-morning business affairs program co-produced by the Allegheny Conference and Cox Broadcasting that aims to play a positive role in the Pittsburgh region by providing business news, information and commentary in a lively and entertaining format.
Appalachian Lighting Systems, Inc. President & CEO, David McAnally was interviewed and featured on WPXI’s ‘Our Region’s Business’ during the May 22, 2011 broadcast, alongside Mike Schiller, Executive Director, Green Building Alliance to talk about why energy efficient lighting is a key component of sustainable construction.
During this broadcast, Mr. McAnally discussed the importance of the LED sector in the US industry as a whole, as well as the Pittsburgh region. He then goes on to demonstrate the ALSI advantage, which is the long lifespan and energy savings. Mr. McAnally was later quoted when speaking about the broadcast, “It was an honor to be interviewed on Our Region’s Business along with Mike Schiller of the Green Building Alliance. It was certainly a terrific opportunity to be able to get the message out to Western Pennsylvania businesses and other organizations making not only a significant positive difference in this region, but across North America as well.”
